What other festivals and fall celebrations are available in our area?
While you are likely familiar with Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween or the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, luckily, we live in a place where family fun is available throughout October and November.
If you are looking for free fun for your family, here are five festivals we recommend:
Winter Park Autumn Art Festival – October 13th and 14th
The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the festival on the second weekend in October each year. The community-oriented sidewalk show presents quality visual art and live entertainment the whole family can enjoy. The festival is held in beautiful Central Park located along historic Park Avenue in downtown Winter Park.
Downtown Orlando – Saturday, October 26th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Young ghouls and goblins enjoy four floors of trick or treating and pumpkin decorating in the pumpkin patch along with creepy crafts, games, ghost hunting, haunted maze, and a scavenger hunt.
Winter Park – Trick or Treat on Park Avenue on October 26th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM
Winter Park celebrates Halloween along Park Avenue, Rollins College, and Shady Park at Hannibal Square with family fun for all ages.
Oviedo Great Day in the Country – November 10th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The festival is held at Oviedo on the Park and it’s completely FREE!
Maitland Art Festival – November 17th and 18th
The Maitland Art Festival is a quality festival located at Lake Lilly and will only have daytime hours.
